Fun Games for Health Class: The ABCs of Health Advocacy (Instant Download)

An easy classroom game for health class (or any other class!) 🎉

The ABCs of Health Advocacy (or whatever topic you choose) is my take on the game Tapple. It’s super easy and can be used with any grade level, in connection with any topic. All you’re doing is asking students to think of something (in this example, it was advocates and/or causes to advocate for).

How to Play the ABCs Instant Activity Game

  • Prep: Print and cut out the ABC cards (click here for an instant download)

  • Step Up: Lay down the ABC cards alphabetically in a circle

  • Game Play: Going one at a time, students name something related to the chosen topic that starts with one of the letters in the circle (for example, if the topic is foods, a student could say “Ice Cream” for the letter “I.”). Whenever they get a letter, they pick up the card.

    • You can either let students go in whatever order they choose (with only one going at a time).

    • Or, students can take turns as they go around the circle.
